Guiding Light Strategies, LLC is driven by mission and community engagement and rooted in a sense of honesty and integrity. We are recognized for our relationship-driven and collaborative approach to designing solutions. 

 

Our goal is to strengthen mission-driven leaders and their organizations' capacities to meet their goals through improved implementation, operational management, and partnership strategies.

About Chandler J. Woods

Founder & CEO

Chandler brings extensive experience leading complex international development, trade, and economic growth initiatives in key roles across the federal government. His expertise spans policymaking, financial planning, regulatory compliance, cross-sector collaboration, and stakeholder engagement at both national and international levels.

 

Chandler served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Paraguay and is fluent in English and Spanish. He has successfully led teams and managed multi-million-dollar programs across South Asia, the Pacific Islands, and Latin America. Chandler brings a collaborative approach to his work that is data-driven and results-oriented. 

 

Chandler holds a Master’s degree in U.S. Foreign Policy and International Political Economy from American University and a Bachelor's in Comparative Political Science from Queens University of Charlotte.

Additionally, Chandler is an Advisor with Pan-American Strategic Advisors and a Network Advisor with EMA Foundation.
